Had a very expensive and older pair of Ray Ban aviator sun glasses which my small son accidentally destroyed, so I came to Amazon searching for a temporary replacement. I had originally planned to purchase this pair only until I could make up my mind which model of Ray Bans I would choose to replace them with. It turned out though that this $5 aviator model is pretty nice (at least for my needs). The UV protection coating is definitely very good and the construction is about the same (at least as best I can tell). After some time with this pair, they perform very well across the board in multiple conditions, like driving during a sunset, snow skiing blare, etc... Five star product across the board. Glad I found these by accident.

They are the exact look I wanted to that was swell. They are obviously not super well-crafted but three for the price was a great deal. I expect I'll get 8-12 months use per pair provided I do not lose them or break them myself. The loss of the fifth star is how dark they actually are. They are SOOO dark. I have incredibly light-sensitive eyes - so much so that I have prescription sunglasses covered by my eye insurance plan. Not actual prescription lenses - just sunglasses because my eyes are that sensitive. With that being said, these are almost too dark for me. There is a long adjusting time when you put them on and then again when you take them off.

Don't buy these unless you can handle copious amounts of awesome. Whenever I wear them, strangers randomly high five me. I've also been invited to play in several pickup beach volleyball games. They also come in handy when you need to check your teeth for stray food particles after lunch. They're actually way better quality than I anticipated, and I would buy them again.

I have such a problem finding aviators that fit my face and my concern with these was that they would look the same. The bottom is longer which means I can wear them and it was 2 weeks of bliss - until (and this is where they loose a star), one of the nose pads got stuck in my hair and fell right out. The other one followed close behind. I still wear them every once in awhile because they still look great but without the pads they slip off.

The finish is great! Very resilient and had I taken care of them with the case that is pretty awesome, I wouldn't have to be ordering a new pair however... I am ordering the same exact thing because of the style.

These glasses are great! I'm very particular about my sunglasses and I've waited patiently to find the exact pair I wanted. These seem very durable, the shape of the lens is very like classic RayBans, and the color is rich in both the lens, and the gold frame. A higher priced pair might have a more brilliant gold tone, but these at least are clearly not silvery as most cheap pairs seem to be. Everyone has their own preferences, but if you like the way they look in the picture, you won't be disapointed. Seller is awesome as well. Free shipping, and they are kind enough to ship them first class anyway. they also offer free return shipping. I've returned something with Triple Optic in the past and they were very good about it. How can you go wrong at $10?

When I received these glasses the nose piece on them was off centered. I think it was just a manufacturing defect but for the price that I paid I was not expecting great quality to begin with. I think that if the nose piece wasn't off centered, these would have fit great and I would have loved them. I still wear them from time to time but they sit funny on my face.
